Turkish Historical series explained
The Turkish series Dirilis Ertrugrul has become popular even so is regarded as ‘Soft Power”. Actually the interest in the series was started by in 2019 by the two leaders :
Mr Erdogan
Mr. Imran Khan(former pm)
A series by Bozdag.
Actually the Turkish people like the Bengali people wants to remain with their own community.(personal opinion). We have some similarities:
Both Sunni Muslims(mainly)
Follow Hanafi faith
Some of the saints like Shah Jalal(RA) is suppose to have come from Konya, Turkey. Now I know where it is and before was not that interested.
The series Dirilis Ertrugrul was for many years in Netflix with 5 Seasons.
Each episode being 2.5 hours long. This TV series will spark interest of the Muslim viewer to study Islamic History. Also you get in the series- a different world ,displaying how Muslims should be like minus the violence. Lot of it is not do with Islam but the Turkish people who can be classified as “Martial Race”.
Among the great warriors in the Series are of Ertrugrul () and then of course Turgut. The emotional aspect when Cenkiz Coksun left. Techkhala tweeted to President Erdogan to bring actor back to play “Turgut” (2020)
Funny. . Some might term it “being crazy”. I would agree with them.

2.Uyanis’-The Seljuks . Goes to to h7. The letter’ h means history and number means chronological order. The order does not refer to quality of the series.
The Gokturk Empire
This empire was a Turkish empire before Islam (552).
The web series Destan depicts this history ,somewhat . But one should watch h4 first.(our opinion).
The series of Dirlis Ertrugrul and Destan inspired to write an eBook on the Gokturk.(published in Amazon and Gumroad).
We would recommend to read the eBook on Gokturk Empire and then will write on the rest from a historical perspective. We are not history experts.
